The Interview Process: In Simple Terms

All phone and face-to-face communications will seek to qualify three reasons why a potential employer would or would not extend a job offer.

  1. Working Skills (Technical basis)
  2. People Skills (Team oriented, leadership, mentor, relationship building)
  3. Tenure (Evaluating the potential rate of return the employer might receive)

You can be assured that the interviewer will be consciously weighing these three areas of qualifications. 
All questions and statements, even those that might not seem important, will help to answer the question:
Are you the BEST fit?

REFERENCES
It is going to happen, so be prepared.
Have a Reference List prepared for your last 3 employers (Supervisors) from your prior three positions.
It should list:
Your name address phone and email (exacting as stated on the top of your resume)
Their name, current title - employer - phone and email address.
Below each boss should be a note stating where you reported to this person.
